Membership

	The Norwegian Physical Society has three categories of membership: 1. General Membership 2. Retired Members 3. Student Members (including PhD students). For 2001 the fees for members inThe Norwegian Physical Society General membership kr 270,- Retired/Student kr 135,- Family membership1 kr 360,- 1 Family memebership, membership for two persons from the same house. For 2001 the fees for members inThe Norwegian Physical Society and The Norwegian Physics Teacher Society General membership kr 300,- Retired/Student kr 150,- Family membership1 kr 400,- All members of NFS are automatically members of the European Physical Society. This organization unites most of the national physical socities within Europe. EPS has its own newsletter, Europhysics News, published 6 times per year.
